PlotPaolo and Margherita are getting married in a week. Paolo is forty and lives in Milan. He has a job he likes and a friend named Ivano who will also be his witness. Thirty-year-old Margherita works as a vet. Her dowry is an eccentric bourgeois family living in an austere villa on Lake Como. Possibly because he feels ill at ease with Margherita's family and nervous at the idea of uttering that short but fateful 'yes', from the very beginning of the week Paolo enters into a spiral of tragicomic misadventures.
