PlotMario, the deputy director of a bank in Milan, is wounded by a policeman and then becomes an unwitting accomplice to two murders committed by the same officer (who will later become his friend). Mario flees to Mexico, where one misadventure leads to another. He makes some acquaintances and is given a place to stay by Alex and the latter's girlfriend Anita. Faced with a way of living that is very different from the one he was used to, Mario is forced to adapt and goes as far as becoming involved in a drug trafficking ring first and then a bank robbery.
